  • 1 Fine mesh strainer To strain the watermelon puree.
  • 1 Large pitcher To mix and serve the lemonade.

Ingredients
  

Watermelon

  • 4 cups fresh watermelon Cut into chunks and seeds removed.

Mint

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves For flavoring.

Lemon Juice

  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice Adds tanginess.

Sweetener

  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup Adjust to taste.

Water

  • 4 cups cold water To dilute the lemonade.

Ice

  • as needed cubes ice cubes For serving.

Instructions
 

Gather Your Ingredients

  • Collect 4 cups of fresh watermelon, 1 cup of fresh mint leaves, 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/4 cup of honey or agave syrup, and 4 cups of cold water.

Prepare the Watermelon

  • Cut the watermelon into chunks and remove any seeds. Place the chunks in a blender.

Blend the Watermelon

  • Blend the watermelon until smooth. You should have a lovely watermelon puree!

Strain the Puree

  • Pour the watermelon puree through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove pulp. Press gently to extract all the juice.

Add Mint and Lemon Juice

  • Add the fresh mint leaves and lemon juice to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine the flavors.

Sweeten It Up

  • Mix in honey or agave syrup to taste. Stir until fully dissolved.

Add Cold Water

  • Pour in the cold water and give it a good stir. Adjust sweetness if needed!

Chill and Serve

  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve over ice and garnish with extra mint leaves!
